| ONLINE REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS |
| NOTE: Before you begin pulling classes online, you need the CRN’S for each class.
You can find them through Major Departmental course postings or in course list. |

Step 1

Enter Self Service
Click the Login
after entering your
X number and PIN
First Time Users:
Click on Security Question and Answer
Click Submit
Forgot PIN?
Enter your X ID then click Forget PIN button.
Answer your established Security Question |

Click on Registration Tab, then Check Your Registration Status |

| Step 3 |

Select the term you want to register for.

| Step 4a |
This will show you the number of credits you have accumulated for your level of registration.

| Step 4b |
You may have holds which would prevent you from registering.
Click on Student Records and select “View Holds”
If you have a “Promissory Hold” you can sign it electronically by clicking on “Sign your Otis Promissory Note”. After you have signed your promissory note click on the back button to return to the Otis website.
You can also pay your semester balance at Otis E-Commerce. |

Once you have finished clearing your holds.
Select Add/Drop classes
You will be promted to Enter your Alternate Personal Identification Number (PIN) given to you during your Advisement |

If you already have your CRN’s enter one number in each box class (you can use the tab key). Use numbers only; no letters.
If you don’t have your CRN numbers you can use the Class Search button to search for classes and CRN’s. |

| Checking the box and click in the Add to Worksheet button at the bottom.
Please keep close attention to which campus the class is in, the day and the time.
Cap
The circled “cap” means the number of students that are allowed in that class. |

Any errors like “Closed Classes or Time Conflicts” will be listed below the classes you registered for.
Search for the CRN’s for the classes you want to register by using the “Class Search” button, then submit button.
If you click the reset button it will erase what you had selected, and you will have to start over. |

| Drop a class by changing the action to Web Drop and Submit Changes |

| When you have successfully registered for all your classes, you may return to the Registration Tab menu to check your Registration Fee Assessment |

Note: Return to the Registration tab menu and Print your Schedule.
When you are done be sure to log out (especially if you are using a public computer).
