 Summer 2008 Registration Process (Section O and Q)

FOLLOW ALL STEPS IN SEQUENCE TO REGISTER WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS.

Step 1

Advisement

  • Sections O and Q foundation students will receive their second semester

Advisement forms and Alternate Pin number with the Studio and

Liberal Studies course Information on Thursday, April 24 during the studio classes.

Step 2

  • If you expect to receive financial aid for the 2008 Summer Semester, students should check their Financial Aid on Self Service to ensure that all aid is up to date. 
  • Also visit the Financial Aid Office site.

Step 3

Promissory

Note

  • Students must sign their Otis Promissory Note In person beginning Thursday, April 24 Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm at the Student Accounts Office
  • All holds must be taken off before you can register on-line. 
  • Go to Self Service and click on Student Records and select “View Holds”.

Step 4

Payments

 

 

 

 

  • Student Balances that are not covered by Financial Aid must be paid online through Self Service using Otis E-Commerce  (ECheck, MasterCard, Discover Card, and American Express).   
  • NEW: You will find your summer balance on Spring/Summer 2008 Tuition Statement.
  • Semester payments must be made no later than May 14, 2008.
  • Students on TuitionPay payment plan will continue making payments as scheduled. 
 

ALL ACCOUNTS MUST BE CURRENT IN ORDER TO REGISTER FOR SUMMER SEMESTER.

Step 5

Pull Classes Online Registration Begins  May 1 and ends on  May 9, 2008

Mon - Fri

5 am-10 pm

  • Students not familiar with Online Registration should start with the Tutorial.
  • Register through Self Service and Print your schedule to confirm your registration is correct.
  • Any schedule changes (ADD/DROP) after May 9th, must be done in person in Monday, May 12 through Wednesday, May 14 at the Registration Office
  • Students who do not complete all the registration process by May 14 will have to late register on Monday, May 19 through May 27 and will be charged a Late Registration feee of $275.
  • DO NOT REGISTER FOR FALL – Your Registration for Fall semester will be at a later date.

 

IMPORTANT

NOTES

  • Pay attention to payment due dates to avoid late charges or being dropped from your classes for non-payment.
  • If, after your best efforts, there are extenuating circumstances that prevent you from registering before the registration deadline you should contact Ed Schoenberg, Vice President for Enrollment Management at 310-665-6865 well before the deadline to discuss your situation.
