Mission of the Purchasing Department

  1. Buy equipment, supplies and services for all of the departments of the College in the most cost efficient manner.
  2. Research and provide information about prices, vendors, products and specifications.
  3. Keep records of College purchases.

The Purchasing Procedures have been developed to provide Academic Departments and Administrative Managers the ability to manage and control the expenditure of College funds. Adherence to the procedures will ensure that the College has the opportunity to acquire the required goods and services at the best possible price and terms.

The Purchasing Department is responsible for procurement by purchase, lease or rental of all materials, services, supplies and equipment required by all departments of the College, regardless of the source.
