- MyO looks different. What happened?
- MyO has been re-designed and re-launched to better serve the Otis Community. This site is now a place to foster communication within the Otis Community and is located at http://my.otis.edu.
We hope you like it. Please add it to your bookmarks, or even make it your home page. If you have any suggestions, questions, or comments on the new design, please let us know.

| |
- What happened to the Portal?
- The Portal is now located at http://portal.otis.edu.
Its functions have not changed. You can still use it for single sign-on, to read and forward your email, change your password, check Registration and Records, and more.
|
| |
- What about the Otis Intranet?
- The Intranet has been transformed into MyO. The URL intranet.otis.edu will now take you to my.otis.edu.
|
| |
- Can I access MyO from home?
- Yes, you can access this site from off-campus. Much of the information is available to the general public, though it is geared for current and former members of the Otis Community. Some of the items and resources, however, may require you to log in. For those items, you will need to enter your Xnumber and password in order to continue.
|
| |
- Do I need to log in to access MyO?
- In general, no. Some items do have restricted access, such as the Staff Directory. If prompted to log in, please use your Xnumber and password.
|
| |
- What is my Xnumber?
- Your Xnumber is your Otis ID number. It is not your social security number. Some Xnumbers, however, may begin with an @ (at) sign. It is also listed on your Otis ID card.
You cannot change your Xnumber. We suggest that you memorize this number because you will need to enter it in order to access many Otis web resources as well as use computers in the Academic Computing labs.

| |
- What is my password?
- Passwords are exactly 6 characters long and are assigned by the system. You can change your password through the CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD tab in the Portal.
